This website is operated by JRK Digital Media B.V. (Ci & Ti), Johan de Wittlaan 7, 2517 JR Den Haag (KvK 98096591, VAT NL868356967B01). In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to JRK Digital Media B.V. (Ci & Ti). These terms apply to everyone who uses this website, including visitors and customers, and to every order placed through it. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Our Delivery, Returns & withdrawal and Privacy pages form part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

1. Online store terms

By placing an order, you confirm that you are of legal age in your country of residence. You may not use our products or this website for any illegal or unauthorised purpose, and you may not transmit viruses or other harmful code. If you break these terms, we may refuse or end our service to you.

2. General conditions

We may refuse service for a legitimate reason, for example suspected fraud or misuse. Payments are handled by Stripe on its own secure checkout; we never see or store your full card details. You may not copy, sell or exploit any part of this website without our written permission. Headings in these terms are for convenience only.

3. Accuracy of information

We take care that the information on this website is correct and up to date. Product photos are as accurate as we can make them, but colours can look different on your screen, and handmade glass, ceramics and wood vary slightly from piece to piece; this is not a defect. For ingredients, allergens and preparation, the information on the pack itself always takes precedence.

4. Prices and changes to the service

All prices are in euros and include VAT. Delivery charges are shown separately before you pay. The price shown when you place your order is the price you pay. We may change prices, products and this website at any time; this does not affect orders we have already confirmed.

5. Products

Some products are available in limited quantities. We may limit the quantity per customer, household or order, and we may discontinue a product at any time. Products can be returned as described on our Returns & withdrawal page.

6. Orders and contract

Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we confirm your order by email after the payment has been received. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example when a product is out of stock, a price or description contained an obvious error, or we suspect misuse; in that case we tell you and refund any amount paid in full. Please give accurate and complete contact and delivery details.

7. Payment

You pay in advance through Stripe, with the payment methods shown at checkout, such as iDEAL, Bancontact or a card. We process your order once the payment has been received.

8. Delivery

We deliver to the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France. Rates, dispatch and delivery times are on our Delivery page. The risk of loss or damage passes to you when the parcel is delivered to you or to a person you have chosen. If we cannot deliver a product, we tell you and refund it.

9. Right of withdrawal and returns

As a consumer you may withdraw from a purchase within 14 days after receiving it, without giving a reason. The conditions, the exceptions for opened food and our voluntary returns for teaware up to 30 days after delivery are on our Returns & withdrawal page, which also contains the model withdrawal form.

10. Guarantee and complaints

Products come with the statutory guarantee that they conform to the agreement. Report a defect, damage or wrong delivery as soon as possible after you discover it, preferably with photos, at info@jrkdm.com. We aim to reply within 2 working days and to resolve a complaint within 14 days.

11. Third-party services and links

This website uses services from third parties, such as Stripe for payments and carriers for delivery. Their own terms apply to those services. Links to other websites are for information only; we are not responsible for their content.

12. Comments and submissions

If you send us reviews, ideas or other content, you allow us to use it to improve and present our shop, without payment. You are responsible for what you send: it may not be unlawful or offensive, infringe anyone's rights or mislead about who you are. We may remove such content.

13. Personal information

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy notice.

14. Errors and omissions

If this website contains an error in a description, price, promotion, delivery charge, delivery time or availability, we may correct it. If an obvious error affects an order you have already placed, we contact you; you may then cancel the order with a full refund.

15. Prohibited uses

You may not use this website to break the law, infringe intellectual property, harass anyone, give false information, upload malicious code, collect other people's personal data, send spam, scrape the website or get around its security. We may end your use of the website if you do.

16. Liability and force majeure

We are liable for damage caused by our intent or gross negligence, and as far as mandatory law requires. Otherwise our liability for an order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, such as carrier disruptions, extreme weather or government measures. Nothing in this section limits your statutory rights as a consumer, including the guarantee of conformity.

17. Indemnification

If you use this website in breach of these terms or the law, you indemnify us against claims of third parties that result from it, as far as the law allows.

18. Severability

If any provision of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in force, and that provision is replaced by a valid one that comes as close as possible to its purpose.

19. Termination

You may stop using this website at any time. Obligations arising from orders placed before then remain in force.

20. Entire agreement

These terms and the pages they refer to form the entire agreement between you and us about the use of this website and your orders. If we do not enforce a right, we do not waive it.

21. Governing law and disputes

Dutch law applies. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of that country. Please contact us first, so that we can resolve a dispute together. Disputes are decided by the competent court in the Netherlands; as a consumer you may also go to the court of your place of residence.

22. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
